Hocus Pocus PNG: Sublimation Tumbler Design Guide

• 20 oz tumbler wrap • Hocus Pocus PNG • PNG digital download • sublimation PNG • tumbler design

A Hocus Pocus PNG can be used as printed artwork for a sublimation project when the file, blank, and printer workflow are compatible. Before pressing, confirm the image dimensions, inspect transparency and edges, and make sure the tumbler blank is made for sublimation.

See the Hocus Pocus PNG design listing for the actual dimensions, included files, and license terms. This is a digital download, not a physical tumbler.

Check the PNG before printing

  • Open the file in your design or print software and verify the pixel dimensions and resolution at the intended print size.
  • Inspect the background. Transparent areas may display differently in different apps; a checkerboard is usually a transparency preview, not part of the design.
  • Check the design's orientation and any text before mirroring. Sublimation transfers normally need to be mirrored for pressing, but confirm your specific workflow.
  • Keep important artwork inside the printable area and away from the tumbler's seam overlap.

Size a 20 oz tumbler wrap

There is no single wrap size that fits every 20 oz blank. Measure the printable height and circumference of your own tumbler, and determine whether it is straight or tapered. A common starting size is not a substitute for a paper test.

  1. Measure the printable height, avoiding the rim and bottom curve.
  2. Measure around the top and bottom of the printable area. Different circumferences indicate a taper.
  3. Resize the artwork or use a matching wrap template without distorting the design.
  4. Print an inexpensive paper test at actual size and wrap it around the blank to check the seam and edges.

Print and press with care

Use sublimation ink and paper intended for your printer and blank. Follow the blank and equipment maker's instructions for temperature, pressure, and time rather than relying on a universal setting. Secure the transfer so it cannot shift, protect the press from ink transfer, and allow the blank to cool safely before removing the paper.

Troubleshoot common results

A white gap usually points to sizing or alignment; ghosting can happen if the transfer moves; faded color may involve the ink, paper, press settings, or blank coating. Change one variable at a time and test on a spare blank when possible.

Before checkout, confirm that the listing includes the resolution and file type your workflow needs. Read the supplied license for permitted uses, especially if you plan to sell finished products.
